United of Omaha announced on December 8th that they will be raising the rates on their Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plan N in Virginia by 15%. This new rate increase will become effective February 1, 2015.
As 15% is a rather substantial rate increase, it’s a good idea to shop for a new Plan N to see if a lower rate is avaiable with another insurance carrier – remember, Medigap plans are standardized so the coverage remains the same, no matter which company provides it.
