The IRS announced that maximum contributions allowed for HSAs will increase in 2015 by $50 for individuals and $100 for families. The HSA contribution limits are updated each year to reflect changes in the cost-of-living.

The 2015 HSA contribution limits will be $3,350 for individuals with self-only coverage and $6,650 for family coverage.

The maximum out-of-pocket expense for employees next year will be $6,450 for single coverage and $12,900 for family coverage.
