The U.S. department of health and human services announced today, October 9, 2014, that the Medicare Part B monthly premium and deductible will remain the same values it was in 2013 and 2014.
The 2015 Medicare Part B premium will be $104.90 – remember, if your income is above $85,000 (filling an individual tax return), or above $170,000 (if married filing jointly), you may have a “Part B income-related monthly adjustment” added to your Medicare Part B premium creating a higher monthly premium for the Part B coverage.
The 2015 Medicare Part B deductible will remain $147.
