As long as your doctor is contracted with the plan you’re signed up for, you should still be able to set an appointment to see him. However, it may take longer to get an appointment as they may be taking on a larger number of patients.
In many areas, there may not be a corresponding increase in the number of doctors to the increase in the number of patients.
