Protective Life announced today that they have agreed to sell their company to Dai-Ichi Life. Dai-Ichi Life is a life insurance company based in Japan and is currently ranked as one of the top 20 life insurance companies in the world.
Thus far there does not appear to be any changes in Protective Life’s day-to-day operations and they will continue to operate out of their current location, Birmingham, Alabama.
